Nice ... Venice (train)

So, the French service agents still suck.

As you can see, I am currently on the train I was orginally schedule for. Unfortunately, because I changed my tickets, it would have cost me 31E (damn, outside of European keyboards right now, and I can't find the Euro symbol) for a couchette. So I guess I'm just being cheap for no particular reason and bumming it out in a seat. We just crossed into Italy, stopping at Vintemille for a border check. In my compartment are 2 Korean girls (who thought I was Korean), and Austrian guy, a Tunisian guy, and someone who was outside when we were talking about ourselves.

So, why do I hate French service employees?

Apparently according to everyone on this train and the last (ok, only 2 people), international trains wait for late trains. AKA I didn't have to stress out. F***ing A**. You'd think with this kind of policy, they would know that. How ridiculous.

In other news, the leopard was actually a cat. I guess there's some breed called a Bengal? I talked to the owner who went all the way from Nice to Lyon and back in one day to pick it up. In other good news (I'm adding that to not-sitting-in-a-car-with-a-leopard), he said my French was very good. So that's cool. I need to watch more movies so my comprehension gets better.

That's really all I got so far. Hopefullly I get some rest tonight. That would be a nice change.
